01

Choose crew or knee-high by looking at the full uniform

Crew socks create a compact colour block near the footwear, while knee-high socks occupy more visible space when the uniform exposes the lower leg. Neither length is automatically better. Pants, footwear, player preference and the product configurations available for the request all affect which proportion makes sense.

02

Let the base colour carry most of the work

A dark base can visually anchor light pants or a high-contrast jersey. A lighter base creates separation when the lower half of the uniform is already dark. The most reliable choice comes from viewing the jersey, pants and proposed sock together rather than choosing a sock colour in isolation.

03

Use stripe rhythm to echo jersey trim

One stripe feels controlled. A double stripe can repeat layered jersey piping. A wider colour block suits a uniform that already uses strong geometry. Keep the order and relative thickness of colours consistent enough that players recognise the connection, but avoid adding detail that disappears at normal viewing distance.

Confirm fit and availability before finalising

Treat every website concept as a visual direction. Sock lengths, size ranges, artwork methods and colour options depend on the product specification available for the team. Include approximate quantities and size preferences in the request so TeamTone can review the practical details directly.
