Start with a clear hierarchy
Use the colour that should occupy the most visual space. It becomes the anchor for the jersey and usually the base for coordinated batting gloves, socks or sleeves.
Use a supporting colour to define panels, stripes or larger contrast areas. It should be distinct enough to remain readable beside the primary colour.
Reserve the accent for piping, outlines, numbers or small high-attention details. A controlled accent often creates a stronger system than using every colour equally.
Small jersey details can guide the rest of the accessory set. A stripe rhythm or piping colour can be repeated on cuffs, sock stripes or sleeve edges without copying the jersey literally.
